Hj Hashim Hassan has over 23 years experience in ICT technology specifically in software development and hardware industry. He started his career as a Programmer at Business Computers Sdn Bhd and in January 1990 as a Lecturer of Computer Science at School of Engineering, UiTM (formerly known as Institute Technology Mara) and specialized in Numerical Analysis and Artificial Intelligence.
In the mid of 1992, he joined the International Computer Limited as IT Consultant for Software and Imaging Development. Appointed at IT Partners Sdn Bhd (subsidiary International Computer Limited Malaysia) as IT Consultant and handling project at Jakarta, Indonesia such as Document Imaging System for PT Telekom Indonesia and Customer Care System and Expert System for Technical Problem for PT Indosat. Consultant for Implementation Case Base Reasoning system for Shell HelpDesk and Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Berhad.
Mid 1997, appointed as Digital DOMAIN’s director of development, responsible for coordinating and monitoring all projects implementation. Consultant for BBMB Bank Negara Reporting System and data warehouse system. Project Manager for Implementation an Integrated Retail Banking System at Bank Surya, Jakarta Indonesia on 1997. Managing 8-men development project team. Modules installed include EastPoint retail banking including CIS, Teller, MIS/GL and Deposits-Savings.
Project Manager and IT Consultant for Implementation in Bank Muamalat Malaysia Customer Information System. This implementation involves system interface and data integration with Bank Legacy system. Project Manager for major enhancement for Muamalah Financing System/MFS project at Bank Muamalat. Successfully rolled-out to 40 branches nationwide.
Project Manager for the development of Nominees & Custodian Management System/NOMS2000 at BCB (formerly Bank Bumiputra) and PAB Nominee Sdn Bhd (subsidiary of Affinn Bank Berhad). Project Manager and IT Consultant for the Implementation of Trustee Management System/TMS2000 at Bumiputra-Commerce Trustee Berhad (subsidiary of Bumiputra-Commerce Bank Berhad). Project Director for Loan Management System Yayasan Tekun Nasional, Perbadanan Nasional and Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia.
Project Director and Consultant for implementation an Integrated Islamic Banking System and Accounting System for “The People’s Bank of Zanzibar, Tanzania, Africa”.
